IEEE SIGHT participated in the Engineering Scientific Day at The Hashemite University on May 19, 2026. The event brought together IEEE societies to present their projects, share ideas and experiences, and introduce students to the activities and initiatives offered by each team.
The IEEE SIGHT team presented several of its projects, including Planet Academy and the Think in Blocks Minecraft Server project. Members introduced students and doctors to the team’s vision, activities, and achievements, explaining the purpose of each project and the work invested in developing them.
The participation received positive feedback from students and doctors. Faculty members expressed appreciation for the quality of the projects and the team’s achievements, while students showed strong interest in the ideas and actively interacted with IEEE SIGHT members during the event.
Taking part in the Engineering Scientific Day gave IEEE SIGHT an opportunity to represent its work within the university community, share its project journey, and encourage more students to discover the team’s future activities and initiatives.
