Chair
Ibrahim AbuDawas served as the second Chairperson of IEEE SIGHT at The Hashemite University for the 2025-2026 term.
He transformed ideas into impactful initiatives and projects, such as Think in Blocks and Palent Academy, which expanded the group’s activities and strengthened its impact within the university community and beyond.
Under his leadership, IEEE SIGHT at The Hashemite University was recognized as the Best Affinity Group by IEEE Jordan Section, reflecting the dedication, creativity and teamwork he fostered throughout the team.
Ibrahim brought new ideas to life, inspired his team to aim higher, and helped take SIGHT to a new level of growth and impact.
2024–2025
Chair
Batoul Al-Mughrabi envisioned establishing an IEEE SIGHT group at The Hashemite University and guided it from concept to launch. She introduced the affinity group model to the IEEE HU community, developed activities that reflected SIGHT’s humanitarian-technology mission, and secured IEEE HU funding by earning the trust of university and chapter leadership. She also built strong relationships with the Deanship of Student Affairs and helped raise the group’s visibility across campus.
